So, have any of you read Shakespeare? Did you have to or did you do it of your own free will? If so, what's your favorite comedy/tragedy/poem/history/whatever by Shakespeare?

I myself enjoy his comedies. I've had to read a few comedies and one or two tragedies in English II class. I'm actually reading THe Merchant of Venice right now, out of my own free will, of course.

So how about the rest of you? Very Happy

The Tempest is amazing, and I rather enjoyed parts of Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

I read his poem: All the World's a Stage in English Class. We had to more/less dechipher it into modern day language. It was actually pretty good.

I love romeo & juliet. its a classic, and it is where the idea of Twilight & Wizards vs Vampires came from.

I loved reading A Midsummer Night's Dream. I really can't understand the comedy of The Tempest but then again, I read it from Manga Shakespeare which, along with having to read Shakespeare in English II class, got me hooked to it.
