Contest of Love

Queso this is a synonymous event with the Tournament of Love. Go look at that one for an explanation of why I'm doing this.

I have absolutely no idea how contests work so I'm going to ask Espe and Ash later for details on how to host this. Protip: this is not a part of the Grand Festival, unless it suddenly is a part of the festival, in which case that's freaking awesome.

Standard rules apply, if you need help with the rules go contact Espe or Ash and they'll help you way better than I can. I'm also accepting judge requests if they want, but there's no reward or benefit for being a judge. Right now I'm the only judge and I won't be participating in this because my entire game is Magikarps.

All of the rewards are trophies. First place gets 1000 Shaycoins, second place gets 500, I don't think there IS a third place but if there is then that gets 250. All registrants get a coupon for a free piece of artwork from me (so expect something crappy) that you can use in my shop if it's still there.

You know, newbies would be confused as to who Espe is if you use third-person to refer to yourself when there's no semblance of an Espeon on your account. xD

Anyway, great! Now that there's actually somebody in the contest, I'll have to get to actually preparing. And by preparing I mean getting my squadron of Magikarps FULLY PUMPED.

Is this going to be in 4th or 5th gen?

I was thinking 5th gen because that's the newest standard of Pokemon battling, and 4th gen is deprecated. Unless there's a good reason I should go with 4th gen over 5th, I'll have the entire contest be under Pokemon Black and White.

(also because the moves look SO MUCH PRETTIER +v+)

also, is there no theme? or can we choose just whatever pokemon to enter?

The theme is "whatever you think looks good", so yeah, anything goes.
