Rule about posting excessive smilies in the Spam forum? Empty Rule about posting excessive smilies in the Spam forum?

Post by Cirrus Thu Feb 19, 2009 9:46 am

My internet connection, probably along with a few others, falls to a crawl or
completely stops when a page has too many pictures, and for some reason, posting 3,822,959,773,100 smilies in every spam post seems to be a new trend. My web browser sometimes does not respond, and I end up having to restart it. Can anything be done about this?

i think there should be a rule for stretching the page as well.

i dont know what we can do other than post it as a rule and edit offending posts though :/

I believe that if you hit the Enter key after the end of the spacing in the reply boxes, it will put the new
text/picture on the next line, and won't stretch the page. Sometimes,
the reply boxes go to the next line automatically, but since Enter hasn't been
pressed, it still stretches the page. But yeah, the stretched pages are
annoying, too.
