Animal Testing

So, the topic to this may seem very awkward, and it is. But for English, I'm having to do a research-project/debate typed deal. My arguement is "Pro-Animal Testing" cuz the teacher assigned me that.

I'm personally not Pro-Animal Testing, which makes this kind of difficult.

But; I was wondering if you guys could think of any Pros and Cons of Animal Testing.

Pros.We wont die the animals will if tested


Cons. Animals will die D:
Animals might have different reactions that humans

Pro: less expensive (probably), can study the reaction of organisms without disabling/ending human life, not as many lawsuits, can better understand primal reactions to certain tests

Con: PETA, animals are not humans so reactions differ, people will cry about animals that nobody cared about when they were alive and healthy and will complain and complain prompting Congress to issue mandates limiting said topic

I could have put more but most of it depended on what kinds of tests.

pro: when the products etc. they test go right, we gain the benefits of said product etc.


con: when the test fails; the burns, irritation, and/or death. especially the death
