In his latest plot to defeat Sonic and rule the world, Dr. Eggman has harnessed the power of six menacing creatures known as the Deadly Six. However, when the Deadly Six rise up against their new master, Sonic must unite with his arch nemesis Eggman and explore the mystical Lost Hex in order to take them on head-to-head.

Now for my comments on it.

It looks AMAZING. It actually uses 3D platforming reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy as well as the 2D platforming of Sonic Unleashed/Colors/Generations, and from how it plays on the Wii U video it seems so much easier to control Sonic. The game looks a lot like the canceled Sonic X-treme, except not crappy by today's standard and actually nicely done, and also actually, y'know, done. I also especially like the whole animal-saving thing, since that was actually kind of the goal of the classic Sonic games, and the fact that it's back is a really nice throwback.

I'm really interested in the fact that it looks and plays very un-similar to previous Sonic games, except the canceled Sonic X-treme that was never released and thus doesn't count. I'm also interested in the Color powers and how they fit into a game that's so radically different from Sonic Colors; the first video has an example of the Cyan Wisp in action but other than that there's supposed to be more.

Seriously, can't wait. It looks like it'll be a fun game!

I think it's dumb because there's that stage from Sonic Adventure that has pretty much the same name. Also because it's not a two-word title like every main Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2 (and Sonic '06 and the storybook Sonics don't count).
