Adventures in Pokemon: A Trainer RP ((accepting new characters))

Jetrey continued walking towards the back and walked back out "Something bad is going on"

Ace watched in horror at what happened to the pokemon center in viridian city on TV from the pokemon center in Jubilife City. There were interviewers asking a trainer named callie standing near the door what happened , the TV than said 'In other news two Galactic Members were arrested there names will not be said, It is certain however that new trainer Ace, son of Roark of the Oreburgh Gym, was attacked but was saved by other trainers. Ace then panicked he did not know if his father saw it or not but didn't want to wait to find out. What to do should he stay in sinnoh where he could be could by his grandpa Byron leader of the Canalave city gym, or his father Roark or he could run to another city where he could not be discovered.

So Ace decided to go to Floaroama Town thinking both team galactic, and his father, or grandpa could not get him he would go training first so Ace said 'come on out Kips' throwing the poke ball into the air, 'Kip Kip Mudkip' Kips said. 'Alright Kips it will be you and me touring the world being the best team ever and nothing, and i mean nothing will stop us right Kips'. Ace then turned around and saw Kips playing with a Vaporeon, and Lotad in a nearby lake with two other trainers swimming with their pokemon. 'hmm' Ace thought forgetting to scan his own Mudkip and he could scan some water pokemon. He got out his pokedex and scanned Mudkip, 'Mudkip the Mudfish pokemon, To alert it, the fin on it's head senses the flow of water. It has the strength to heft boulders.' 'wow' Ace said 'this is cool'. 'Hey!' Ace quickly turned around 'Is this your Mudkip, he sure is friendly' says the guy 'and cute too adds' the girl. Ace decided he needed a break too so he swam too.

The river was really cold, and Kips saw how cold Ace was, so he dived underneath the water and splashed Ace by using his tail. (still waiting on the stats espe so i can train)

Meanwhile Roark ( gonna fast forward what happens ) sees Ace is not home, so he gets Cranidos, Onix, and Geodude and goes to the Coal Mine ignoring everyones 'good morning Roark' telling them Ace is missing and tells Steven he is in charge of the Coal mine while he is gone. Then tells Officer Jenny his son is missing and tells his friend Jack he was in charge of the gym. Goes tell his father Byron about it and to keep an eye out for Ace and tell him about it if he is seen, while he is talking on those computer webcam things Jenny pops in the conversation and shows her sister has seen Ace but didnt know it was Roark's son. Roark goes to Jubilife city to try to find Ace but he doesn't. (Roark, Byron, Team Galactic some of the miners, and every Officer Jenny was on the lookout for Ace what will happen next? )

It was suddenly night, Ace finished enjoying a nice swim and got some more pages for his Pokedex from a nearby Trainer fishing and suddenly felt the ground shaking and heard the ground cracking, Trainer Drew said 'Whaaaaah not again' as he fell. Trainers Gerald, and Helen said at the same time, 'Diglett'! As a little diglett popped out the ground than others popped out too. 'Diglett' Ace said pulling out his Pokedex 'Diglett the mole pokemon, A pokemon that lives underground. Because of it's dark habits, it is repelled by the sunlight'. 'So thats why it is here at night' Ace thought. 'Use Surf' the swimmers yelled at Vaporeon and Lotad, together their surf was more like a tsunami.

Driving away most of the digletts.Than the digletts were angry and came back. 'What do we do' Drew said picking up his gear, Ace thought hard 'repelled by sunlight' Ace whispered to himself and had an idea 'That's it' Ace yelled. Searching through his back remembering he brought a flashlight helmet, the one he's been using in the coal mine. Putting one on Kip's head and himself, seeing the light scared a few diglett. Having spares (for some strange reason) gave one for Drew , Gerald, Helen and one for vaporeon and lotad. Everyone started to chase the Diglett to scare them away but than Ace saw one sneaking up behind Kips. 'No!' Ace yelled pushing Kips out of the way, Ace than blocked Kips and took the many diglett at once cutting and scratching him. Helen than made Vaporeon use surf knocking the diglett out at one time bc of the previous attack. (would chasing Digletts count as training since Kips did scare them)

Helen asked are your alright not mentioning the blood from Ace's arm, Ace asked' yeah why did you a...' Ace than saw the blood and didn't worry bc it was only tiny scratches but alot of them were oozing blood droplets so Ace said 'hey why are the Diglett Still here'? Gerald 'answered we knocked some of them out' throwing a pokeball at one to make sure that would be one less diglett on the run. Everybody than gave back Ace the Mining Helmets back. Ace than remembered how his father protected him from a herd of Tauros.

Ace was 7 playing while working in the mine than walked out to take a break getting commented on a good job and how much he would be like his father. Than the herd just ambushed from the open fields toward them every worker sent there pokemon to go get them. Machamp used FocusPunch, Golem used rollout, Hitmonchan used CometPunch, Hitmonlee used HighJumpKick, and Roark (his father) used Onix to send Tauros Flying. Than Roark saw one individual going toward Ace. 'Ace lookout!' Roark yelled Ace dodge rolled than stood up quickly to see the Taurus ram into a boulder. Taurus was confused and than tried standing up but fell down.

Roark than called back Onix and sent out his newly regenerated Fossilized Pokemon Cranidos. Making Cranidos finish Taurus off with Headbutt, but than was stopped by Ace 'Dad. Its not their fault, they stampede but even when they do your can't just take your anger out on them from almost losing your only son'.

Around a campfire made by Gerald, Helen was done cleaning and bandaging the wounds on Ace. Gerald said 'wow that was a touching story'. 'Ah!' Ace said out loud 'You weren't supposed to here that'! 'Chill out Ace' Drew said calmly 'we won't turn you in'. 'Really' Ace asked positive. 'Just if you come with us' Helen said. Ace said 'Yeah' in Reaction to their request and than asked what they were gonna do as trainers. Drew said 'a Collector', Helen replied 'Coordinator', Gerald said 'a breeder'. 'what about you' Drew asked Ace. Ace paused than answered 'a Pokemon Trainer' than he felt Kips tugging his jeans. 'What is it'? Ace asked Kips stomach than growled.

'Oh i see, I guess i am hungry too from that awful disaster everyone got their pokemon out so they could eat for lunch. Drew's poliwag, and Finneon, Helens Vaporeon, And Vulpix, and Gerald's lotad and wingull. Ace and Kips ate fast ,and Ace fell asleep holding Mudkip in his hoodie, everybody else set their tents up and let Ace sleep with the pokemon.

Current Location, 3/4 of the way to Floaroma Town

(Fast Forwarding note only acting dont try to be mean when i am talking to family) Roark went to proffesor Rowan asking if his son had came through here Rowan said yes and that he got a mudkip Roark seemed pretty calm about it and went looking for Ace still and found his bike locked to a tree with a note on it when Roark unlocked it. Dear Dad, sorry I ran away from home but i couldn't live the rest of my life Owning a Coalmine and a Gym. To much for me to handle well, anyway i am gonna return one day to challenge you and grandpa at the gyms get ready for a challange dad, From Ace. PS: watch out for team Galactic dad they tried robbing me once and might try robbing your fossil collection.

Ace got Awakened by a Strange Voice saying 'Hello there, Good Morning' Ace didn't recognize it as Helen's, Drew's, or Gerald's voice. So he got up and Kips awoke too and they both looked around 'Morning Sleepy head' Ace definitely recognized Drew's Voice 'hey drew'. 'Did you guys hear a strange voice?' Ace said, Helen said 'No... Ace. 'Did you hit your head after The Attack Of The Digletts, coming soon to a theater' than everyone started laughing including Ace 'it was pretty fun for the First part of the journey.

'Well let's start packing up, we are bound to hit Floaroma town by noon' Gerald said, Drew asked what time it was , Ace answered back '10:21 we should best be moving' Ace said grabbing Kips from the ground 'right Kips?' Kips Answered back 'Mudkip Kip' than they finished packing and tried going than Ace remembered ' Hold on guys i need to get my Pokedex be right back, wait here' Ace said running back to their campsite still hold Kips. When they got there Ace was shocked, it was gone. Kips and Ace looked everywhere than they gave up 'it's not here' Ace said disappointedly 'Kip' Kips said back in a sad tone.

'Looking for this?' that mysterious voice from the morning! Ace turned around no one, 'Over here' Ace turned quickly Kips jump out of Ace's arms and looked in the same direction Ace Yelled 'Show yourself!' than a Chatot holding Ace's Pokedex swooshes and knocks Ace Down. Ace said Chatot and forgot his Pokedex wasn't there realizing he was missing it. 'Kips this will be your first battle ready?' Kips replied 'Kip Kip'.

The Chatot put the pokedex in it's nest ' Kips use Ice Ball!' Kips suddenly ran and rolled himself into a ball of ice (this is how the move is done on Battle Revolution) and struck the Chatot . 'Nice Try' Chatot said weakly even though it hit him. The others came back after waiting so long wondering what was going on seeing the pokemon battle so they quited and watched.

(Chatot used whatever move Espeon says) 'Kips Dodge it Quick!' Kips jumped around like a buneary (lol) 'now use tackle!' Kips jumped one more time and tackled the Chatot in the air , as Kips and Chatot were falling Ace threw a Pokeball at the Chatot and Caught Kips in his Arms. 'You ok Kips?' Kips Said 'Mud Mudkip Mud'.

Will this be Ace's First Catch? only time will tell

Roark went back to the Gym and asked if there was any challenges, Jack said not that he knew of, and took over and told Jack to tell Steven he was back and he would handle the mine, Roark Trained Really hard so he could have a great father son battle.

Seaa taps her finger on her chin, "MMM," she thinks out loud. "If you hit the tree again, it might not do anything, lets try curse. Slowpoke, Curse!" Seaa shouted.

The ball bounces to the ground and sits still for a moment before bursting open in a flash of light.
"CHA! TOT!" the pokemon squawks, obviously annoyed.
It chases after Kips, pecking the small mudkip several times in its fury.

"Poke." Slowpoke replies, focusing on the weedle in the tree. He narrows his eyes at it, focusing on how he could get it down.
Concentrating....
"Dle?" the weedle peers down at the slowpoke and trainer, curious. He looks back at the leaves after several minutes, munching happily again.
You can almost see the 20 watt light bulb glowing over Slowpoke's head as he turns to his trainer, "Slowpoke."

Chatoting Revenge

'Kip Kip' Mudkip yelled while being attacked Chatot and dove into the river. While Chatot was trying to find a way to get Kips, Gerald yelled 'Wingull get Ace's Pokedex' while tossing the pokeball 'Gull Gull' said wingull and zoomed toward the tree Chatot saw and (whatever Espeon Put) and knocked Wingull down to the ground. 'Kips nows your chance IceBall' Kips quickly jumped to shore and Rolled up in to a ball of ice once more and (dont know if it hit Chatot)
'Now wingull while Chatot(is possibly hit) get the pokedex' wingull flew up and said 'Gull' and grabbed the pokedex with his beak and flew back to Ace and dropped it in his hand 'Chatot' he said to the Chatot the Music-note Pokemon, chatot can mimic human speech through it's vocal chords. Ace than grabbed his Pokeball again 'Now Kips IceBall Let's Go!' Kips used Ice ball again (not sure if it hit) 'Now Go pokeball!' Ace Yelled While throwing it at Chatot.

Once again Chatot is in the ball is it caught this time or will it Escape Again?

Chatot rises weakly to its feet after the second ice ball attack; unable to stop the wingull from taking the pokedex from its nest.
"Tot..."
It is also powerless to dodge the third attack from the mudkip as it rolls toward it. Chatot is struck with ice ball, knocking it back and out. It lays in the grass, eyes swirling.

Ace's poke ball does nothing but bounce off the Chatot and sit in the grass beside it; they weren't designed to capture unconscious pokemon.

((ice ball's damage increases every turn. chatot was KO'd before ace threw the ball))

What the ? i knocked it out? (chapter name XD)

Ace Says 'Darn' and quickly gets an oran berry from a nearby bush and puts it in chatot's beak . Chatot gets up and seems confused as to why ace give it the berry and then quickly realizes that ace wanted to catch it in the ball, Ace than threw a pokeball (again) trying to catch this pokmon. (lol i brought it back to catch it)

Floaroma, the Aroma Town!

'Oh Crap' Ace said as he poked the knock out pokemon. 'Ace you killed It!' Helen Yelled at Ace, ' I didn't mean to, and it's not dead see it's breathing.... I think. All i wanted to do was catch it' Ace was depressed and Kips was tired. 'We can't just leave the poor chatot there' Ace said 'i know! we can't take it to the PokeCenter in Floaroma Town, then maybe we can have a rematch' Helen yelled in a tone 'ACE is Battling ALL you can think ABOUT?' Ace was shocked than said 'yeah because i am gonna be a trainer'.

Ace made Kips return to get a good rest, than picked up chatot and ran full speed toward Floaroma Town and had to swim across a river to get there with one arm, ' Ace 'Drew said Tired 'slow down dude Ace than remembered his friends were behind him and rested about 7/8 of the way to Floaroma Town. 'But it's so close' Ace said, Gerald and Helen Then came 'Fine but meet us at the pokemon center' So Ace said got it and ran fast again.

When he made it to Floaroma Town it smelled Heavenly 'Whoa ' Ace said and noticed commotion going on in town 'hey' a little kid said to a Galactic Grunt 'Give me back my Combee'. Urgh that team Galactic was up to no good again than he say a little girl asking the same grunt 'give me back drifloon too' the Grunt then said 'these pokemon?' holding up 2 different pokeballs 'Yeah' they both said. 'NO!' the grunt yelled than started laughing at them his friend came and said 'hey take these kids pokemon? mind if i have 1' 'sure' the first grunt said back and threw combee at his friend then they both laughed and ran. One with Driffloon towards the Valley Windworks, the other with Combee toward the Meadow.

Ace Had to stop them but they ran in 2 different directions, but he had to go heal up his pokemon (including Chatot even though it was not his... yet) first. So when he healed Chatot, Chatot did not recognize this place 'Where am i?' it asked. 'I knocked you out trying to catch you because I thought you were cool, so what do you say to a battle?' Chatot flew on top of Ace's Head and said
'Buddy' Ace thought that meant Chatot liked him, Chatot than said 'first help kids than we battle'than it flew to the tree next door to the Pokecenter and waited for ace to return for a battle.
Ace than met up with his friends 'Guys we have to stop Team Galactic, they took two kids pokemon' pointing to the children telling Officer Jenny what happened.

Drew said 'We have to stop them' Gerald Said 'Ok we split Up Helen and Ace to the Windworks, Me and Drew will head to the meadow meet back here once we teach Team Galactic a lesson or 2'
'Right 'we all said not arguing with the plan.

Current Goal: Stopping Team Galactic, and retrieve stolen pokemon

Takako ran into the back where Typhlosion was, then calmly stepped behind it.

"Looks like we're done here." She smiled before Typhlosion used another Smokescreen. Before it could clear they were already running towards the back for their escape.
Absol roared again, then went to the back at met up with Toxicroak. They didnt have to wait long for their master, as Takako and Typhlosion were at the back door. Typhlosion covering their escape with Smokescreen.

Toxicroak and Absol took guard just inside the doors as Takako's last Pokemon landed in front of her. It stood proudly, then leaned down to allow Takako on it's back. There was also a harness where Takako put the bags Toxicroak had given her.
"Yea, we're done here." She smiled again and recalled her Pokemon before having her ride face the open doors in the back.

"Lets see..... One... two.... three... four.... five." She counted, "Now use Sandstorm!"
The dragon roared another prideful bellow before flapping its wings and creating a powerful sandstorm into the Poke Centre.

Sandstorm tears through the ICU, blasting the front doors open with its force. Sand and smoke flood the front room, barraging all present with sand and dust.
Espeon braces against the sandstorm wind, her coat whipping out behind her, "What the heck was that?! Something is definitely going on."
Emerald's gem glows eerily through the smoke, eyes closed as he scans the area. He finds five energy sources near the back door, and they were moving.
"Eon." he calls to his trainer, "Spe."
Espeon walks toward her pokemon through the smoke, "You found something?"
"Spe." he nods.
"Go see what it is, Emerald."
The espeon senses his way through the smoke and into the ICU. He lowers his ears to keep the sand out of them as he creeps closer to the source of the attack. Emerald growls at the group of pokemon.
Espeon follows him as best she could, trying to shield against the sandstorm. She can see the group of pokemon and their trainer as well, "Who are you?" she asks, squinting at the trainer.

Callie peers around the corner of the doors leading to the ICU, trying to watch through the dust and smoke, "This is so freaky."
She looks down at the floor, scooping Marilyn up into her arms and hugging the chikorita nervously. Her usual bright and outgoing nature overshadowed by her fear of the situation.

wow sounds dangerous in Kanto 0.o, Espeon it mimics what it hears but i make it talk because i like it to talk, also if kips knocked out Chatot that means it gets EXP points right?

Team Galactic's Plan

Ace and Helen ran toward the Wind Valley Works 'urgh' he sees team Galactic members inside along with some scientist too' than Ace heard a little girl 'Um... are you guys going to the Valley Windworks to save Driffloon and my daddy?' Ace Asked 'is he a scientist?' The girl answered back 'Yes! Have you've seen him?' Helen then pointed to the window.

Than the scientist saw her waving and tried to make a motion to say it was a trap but it looked like he just said 'no' confused the girl stays and says 'Will you go save my dad? please?' she started to cry. 'Hey no Problem little girl' Helen answered back than Ace got Kips out, Helen Got out Vaporeon and Vulpix.

Meanwhile Drew had his Poliwag on his head while Gerald Had Wingull flying sky high looking for team rocket in this big meadow 'Gull Gull Win' Wingull shouted. Gerald 'Wingull sees them' they ran in the Direction Wingull lead them and Saw two galactic Grunts one holding a pokeball 'You want you combee back? Well too bad because it's my combee now.HAHAHA' they both laughed 'urgh drew said and ran up to them 'Drew wait!' Gerald replied and chased him. The Team Galactic Grunts saw these other kids running to 'them so you got your friends to come.'The Grunts challenged Drew and Gerald in a Double battle, if they won the kid gets combee back and some key with the Letters WV on it, if they lost they would lose their own pokemon 'Fine than a double battle is what they want, it is what they'll get.'

Drew got Poliwag, while Gerald Sent Wingull out, the Grunts sent out Dustox. and Beautifly.
The Battle Has Begun

Meanwhile Ace and Helen Tag sent out Kips, and Vulpix against the grunts at the Wind Valley, the grunts sent out Misdreavius and Mukrow. If they won they would get Drifloon back to the girl and a key with the Letters WW on it, if they lost they would lose their Pokemon.

Meanwhile Chatot slept in the tree waiting for Ace to return to battle again

Both groups didn't know what the keys were and why team Galactic offered it but they didn't argue.

Current Goal: Tag Teaming Against the Grunts and saving the children's pokemon while getting these weird keys with letters on them

((you advance the time quite fast O_o the story also resembles the games a lot, imo. sry if im being nit-picky though.))
((lets see, four grunts for espe to control. im going to assume your 'friends' are at about the same level as them. kips is level 6 now btw since you beat chatot in battle. add 2 points to each of kips's stats))


Battle 1: (drew and gerald)

"Think you can take us, kid?" one of the grunts taunts, grinning, "Dustox use Toxic!"
"Tox." it replies, gliding over the top of the two pokemon and showering them with poisonous liquid.
"Absorb, Beautifly." the other grunt commands, with a considerably higher amount of grace and poise, "The small blue one." he waves in the general direction of the poliwag.
"Fly..." the beautifly dives at the poliwag, probiscis outstretched to draw energy from the water pokemon.

((yes that is what the calculator said << im not picking on you. poliwag has 33 HP and the attack did 15 damage))


Battle 2: (ace and helen)

The grunts stand smugly in front of their pokemon, "Psywave the vulpix."
"Astonish the mudkip, Murkrow!" the other grunt shouts.
The two pokemon rush forward, each preparing its commanded attack. Misdreavus's necklace gems begin to glow with an eerie energy, pulsing out at Vulpix in a bizarre pattern.
Vulpix braces against the psychic barrage, gritting its teeth.
Murkrow moves at blinding speed toward Kips, striking him in the side and startling him quite badly.

((kips is down to about half health, vulpix is at two-thirds))

so your letting me keep my friends unless i go to kanto or you come to sinnoh right? and i don't know what to put the time as

'Vulpix use Hypnosis on Faint Attack on Misdreavus' Helen shouted
'Vulpix Pix' Went Running looking like it was gonna tackle but hitting the pokemon
'Drea Mis Vus' It says knowing it was super effective (not sure if it is knocked out)
'Kips IceBall on Murkrow now!' Ace pointed
'Kips kip' Kips than rolled into a ball attacking the murkrow (don't know either)

((vulpix doesnt know faint attack, only the player character pokemon have egg moves. the others are fine though :3 except for your attacks auto-hitting, thats slightly annoying still))
((and yes you can keep them with you since it wouldnt be very fair to set a trainer with only a lv 6 mudkip in a lv 10-15 environment without help))

((ill write the battle stuff a little later ^^; ))
