Zayc, don't complain, just accept a loss. Dang! Now I'm forbidden to win the second match that we have if the first one we get becomes DC'ed? Besides, it's not like we're winning money in the tourney or anything, you get mad as if your life is on the line, we're not even winning anything in the tourney! This is exactly why I almost didn't enter the tourney in the first place cuz of altercations like this.

I'm sorry if I'm sounding bitter, but I can't stand people who can't accept a loss, and complain about it to everyone. Fun fact: Wi-Fi DCs happen, am I a cheater because of it??

Zayc doesnt complain, he's complaining because when he was doing well there was a DC. I know they happen, I know nintendo wifi can act up sometimes, but its usually you can tell its a nintendo wifi thing cause when you log back on there is an error message.
If there was a lot of lag durring the match (long time before screen says x launched y attack and it actually happens) its either someone is away from the router and not getting enough bars, or nintendo acting up. If both parties say 3 bars, its nintendo. If it was a sudden drop with no warning people get suspicious.

No you are not forbidden to win the second match because of a DC. If there was a DC both parties should have had the option of switching their entire team if wanted and having a full rematch so they are back to even grounds, or tag their partner to have the DC rematch battle. I know I cant do an official ruling on this since I'm not running the show, but a DC is still suspicious and frustrating for any parties involved. Its like the serebii wifi guest thing, if there is a DC, its most likely the guy with no name. Though here in a forum its a real test of if it was on purpose or if it was a DC.

Though I'm offering to say why not just tag your partner next time there is a DC like that. That will even things out a bit and make sure there isnt any hostility if this happens again.

Alrite Alrite everyone let me tell u the method in telling who d/ced...if it has d/ced and u get blue screen and u are able to press A and come out of the blue screen quickly it was either A) Your opponent d/ced B) Their WiFi d/ced C) Ninetendo error.
IF Your WiFi D/ced u wouldnt be able to come out of the blue screen quickly u would have wait like 2 seconds more to come out or you will have to turn off ur game to exit the blue screen.

Ya that is my theory of what i observed..IF this helps u in anyway ADD NARUTO SAMA TO YOUR FRIENDS AND GIVE HIM A GOOD REP P.S u dont have to the part in captial letters lol

OH yea one more thing u should look at the opponents attitude to see if they d/c like if the match is going bad and then it d/ced and they are like "WTF,what happened did you d/c?" they are the ones who d/ced

Usually, though since there are no real witnesses outside of the two players its still up in the air. I already fixed my router to allow me on wifi, and its right beside the computer so I always get the full 3 bars and no lag (unless I move to the basement, where connection drops to two bars, yet outside is a one bar lose connection lol)
As for Collin/Cirrus, they both in a quick glance look the same. They start with a C, they are about the same length, so my brain quickly decides Collin and Cirrus are the same and I tend to mixmatch them lol!

Anyways, Zayc if the battle was lagging one of the players was either at low connection or wifi was having a problem. If it was wifi it could end quickly, or your opponent could have moved towards their router. The second round, if it was lagging it was more likely Nintendo since your opponent would have said something like "Sorry bad connection making me lag" or they would have fixed it. If it wasnt lagging at all its more likely your opponent lost connection/DCed and then fixed it before the next battle by moving closer.

Not saying it was either of you, so I still think Shaymin should decide on this. My opinion is having an auto tie and tag your partners for a different match up then what happened. That would be fair for anyone involved, giving both teams a chance at round two while making sure if there was a DC by human that they still may not win by that form of cheating.

And Gold, whoever DCed has to restart their game and most likely will be the last one on wifi if both players decide to run back in, since the one who gets the blue screen just restarts at the desk right away and doesnt have to load.

Alright, ENOUGH. Zayc, 40% for flaming. I knew this tourney was a bad idea in the first place.

Srsly, if you can't handle a DC, you're gonna have a tough time in life. The simple fact is we got DC'ed, we had a rematch because of it, and I happened to win. If you won the match, you wouldn't have complained, and brought it this far. Conversely, I wouldn't go anywhere near as far as you seemed to have gone if I were in your position. Fun fact: DCs happen.

If I hear any more on this issue, more warning bars will go up. I'm super-duper cereal. This tourney is supposed to be for fun.
