Should we change the rules for Gym Leadership Challenges?

These are the choices:
1. People can not take over a gym, unless the gym leader becomes inactive, quits, or gets promoted.
2. Only people wishing to have the same type of the gym can take it over by beating the gym leader in a battle with their mono type teams. If they wish to have a type that no gym leader has, they will have to wait until one becomes inactive or quits.
3. Keep the rules the same. The rules are: You can challenge a gym leader for leadership, if you win you get their gym.

I like Choice 2 and 3, but I voted for 2.

choice 2. challenges should still be an option but i agree that the rules right now are a little lax

I voted for 2. The challenger should show a strong mono type team that can defend its weaknesses. Which shows that trainer is committed to becoming a gym leader. Also i believe 3 is unfair, because if anyone challenges a gym leader with any team they want they would use a whole team of that gyms weakness agaised them.

Choice 1 is only 2 votes ahead of Choice 2 so we cannot decide which option we will use yet.

I'd say keep the poll open till Monday, and whichever is ahead wins. I voted #2, because #1 is a bit stupid, and #3 is annoying, because someone could challenge for the gym of a grass gym with a fire team.

#1 is stupid. We'd be stuck with a lot of weaker gym leaders until they go inactive.

This pole was just to see what everyone wanted, it wasn't a definite change.
