Chimchar forums did not do well with clans. I suggest detailing your plan first.

No to clans

Clans work well if they have a good leader and family. Plus the rules have to be set in stone.

Usually these end up as wars, but if we keep it friendly it should be cool. It could very well spark more turneys and contests on occasion to see who the top clan is. Although again, set rules in stone about them, like only allowing people who know the rules to be leaders and such.

We could test run it, and if it goes poorly we can just as easily take them out. Think of them as Shaychu branches, with each clan having a different goal but still united under the name Shaychu.

i remember the start of this forum...we had a poll like this....and it failed epically.
no one wanted clans b/c it would put ppl against eachother or something rather.

I think we should at least try and if it doesn't work out, we'll just simply close down the clan. We'll never know 'till we try. I think the clan idea will work out fine if executed carefully.
