suggestion would be...? 5 admins seems like a lot to only have three fully active. ive also noticed some counter-productivity among the mods...
In case you hadn't noticed, everything else is gone, and the two I got rid of accidently I swear said March in them...
its gone cuz i fixed it
also, loves the random advertising you guys are doing d:
Re: Staff Reformation
Your welcome Lol I'm wanting to be important on your site so I was advertising. I might get for advertising, but than again my bar should be cleared a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago. So I don't really care if I get more added onto the bar that should've cleared

We may not need to change the staff at all, but the inactive staff needs to get off their lazy asses and do some work around here for a change.
Agreed with the second part. As for the first part, I really don't think giving away the head admin account is possible. I did a bit of research, and looked on Forumotion, and read that it wasn't possible. Or Espy has some realllly secret way of doing this that nobody on Forumotion (the head mods including, cuz they answered the question in the thread I looked at) knows about. One way to do this if we reeeeally wanted to would be to make a complete duplicate of the whole forum, and the trusted head admin be the one to make it, but that presents its own issues.
First off, the domain will be effed up, and we'd have to either do something funky with the Forumotion administration, or get a whole new domain, since Forumotion is the one that manages it, and it's impossible to transfer it to another forum through normal means. Credits are also not transferable (Not a catastrophe because we dont' use them, and I'd be glad to get more, anyhoo).
I really don't think we should make a whole new forum and go through this whole process just to transfer a head admin account, though. The post impersonation would be annoying if someone were given the account, but IMO, it's not practical to make a whole new site just because of one person.

Indeed. I'm gonna start updating that thread more often from now on. I actually think we should change the warning procedure so that there's a 2-week span of the person's warning bar whenever they get their first warning, rather than scheduling it for EVERYONE for one date. The way we run it now, someone could act up and get 90ish percent on one day, and have it completely erased the next day if it "happens" to be the day that warning bars are reset. I run this on my site, and I think it works wonderfully.
EDIT-OMQ, this post......became.....longer than I thought it would be. .-.

The warning bar thread is deader than George Washington.

Re: Staff Reformation
i will help then, cirrus. there needs to be a warning system that we stick to of some kind.
Re: Staff Reformation
Yes while you discuss a new warning bar I'll just try to refrain myself from posting bad pics, double posting, cussing, flaming, and saying the word Damn... Crap Im banned DX Nah jk but seriously do we still need the bars?

bars give us and the mods something to threaten problem members with. it keeps a nice buffer between as orderly as possible and completely out of control
Re: Staff Reformation
I went ahead and made it law. For now on, warning bars are static to each user, rather than being completely cleared once every 2 weeks. This means moar order.
I also moved the warning bar thread to the Announcements forum so that people can see what they were warned for, instead of asking the staff over and over why they were given a warning increase.

It would seem not, considering Jack has been on numerous times since this was posted. -.-

Re: Staff Reformation
I see what you guys all mean by some head-admin-inactive-ness, nd i dont think they should be deadminned, but they should increase their activity.
and about the warning bars.. is everyone reset now, starting from scratch.. but NO-MORE resetting? it makes sense if you did that. But that means that there's no resetting form now on. (if thats what you mean by static)

They get reset 2 weeks from when you recieved the first warning in that warning bar.
So if I got a warning today, I wouldn't get mine set until two weeks from now. Whereas it used to be just every other sunday.

Me like. x)
May I just say, I second his opinion. =)

Re: Staff Reformation
I reject his opinion.
That would be unjust to the users whose colors are not pink, purple, or blue. Furthermore, most of the users in the stated colors deserve not to be admin for various reasons.
